Anyone who has ever visited Tower City, shopped at Southpark Center, hiked over the new Cleveland Browns Stadium pedestrian bridge, or appreciated the Jennings Freeway shortcut that links I-90 and I-480 has witnessed the craftsmanship of The Great Lakes Construction Company firsthand and probably never knew it. On many projects, Great Lakes Construction is involved in the earliest stages — literally from the ground up. The company is known for its general contracting capabilities, including site improvements, excavations, major industrial-plant and commercial-site construction, power plants, public works, highway and bridge projects, and mine-site reclamation. The placement of reinforced structural concrete is its specialty.

The Great Lakes Construction Company (TGLCC) is a 100% employee-owned heavy civil construction company based in Hinckley, Ohio. Our projects are concentrated in the Great Lakes region with a predominate focus in the NE Ohio area.

We provide a wide range of heavy civil services including construction, design/ build, operations and maintenance for private- and public-sector infrastructure projects. Public-sector projects include airports, roads, highways, bridges, dams, tunnels, canals and mass-transit facilities.
