Great Lakes Construction received a Special Award for outstanding effort in safety by operating without a lost-time accident from 10/12/06 to 12/31/07 – 711,994 hours worked.

(Diesel Emissions Reduction Grant) GRANT AWARD
Great Lakes Construction was recently announced as a recipient of a grant from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009 National Clean Diesel Funding Assistance Program. With this grant, Great Lakes will receive funding to cover 80% of the cost to retrofit the engines in two of our D8 bulldozers.
This award is one of the first in a series of clean diesel awards that will occur throughout the Nation in the coming months in our state and country’s efforts to reduce diesel emissions and improving air quality.
